Privacy policy
What we collect, how we protect children’s data, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 7 November 2026. This policy explains what personal data Jauntro collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Data we collect
- Parent account: name, mobile number, e-mail address and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Child profiles: first name or nickname, optional year of birth and avatar, and their game scores, quiz results, XP and certificates.
- Orders: delivery addresses, items bought and payment status. Card and bank details are handled by Razorpay, not by us.
- Messages: what you send through our contact, school-quote and notify forms.
- Technical data: device and browser information, IP address and sign-in sessions, used to keep accounts secure.
2. Children’s data and parental consent
We collect children’s data only through a parent’s account, with that parent’s consent, and only what is needed for play and learning. We do not show advertising to children, track them for advertising or build behavioural profiles. Public leaderboards show only a child’s first name and avatar. A parent can edit or delete a child profile at any time under My account → Children & scores, which also deletes that child’s scores.
3. How we use data
To run your account, process and deliver orders, take payments, send sign-up codes and order updates, save game and quiz progress, issue certificates, answer messages, prevent fraud and improve the site. We do not sell personal data.
4. Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run Jauntro, under contract and for these purposes: Razorpay (payments), our e-mail provider (sign-up codes and notifications), our hosting provider (servers in India where possible) and courier partners (delivery details). We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Account and child-profile data is kept while your account is open. Order and invoice records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise the rest.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data and your children’s data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Many changes can be made in My account; for anything else write to info@jauntro.com.
7. Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access inside Jauntro is limited by role. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Cookies
We use a secure cookie to keep you signed in and the browser’s storage to remember your cart, wishlist and game progress on this device. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Grievance officer
For privacy questions or complaints contact our grievance officer at info@jauntro.com or +91 95292 43033. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date, and tell you by e-mail about important ones.
